First tv I ever got was from my grandparents, it couldn't even memorize channels. Even default channels like EXT1 or the like didn't exist. Every time the TV went on we had to search for the video channel to play with this bad boy

oh, I remember what it was like to have the TV die on us because it was windy. Also, I remember when there simply was no TV after 12am, it would cut to the "no signal/technical difficulties" screen until 6am. When I was around 10 years old, we got a cable TV, it blew my mind how clear it was. Man, I also remember when I was 15 and there was a big push to buy HDTVs, to watch TV at fake 60 fps, theyd explain when objects were moving fast they'd get blurry on TV, but not in HDTVs... to the point they would actually edit TV shows to have motion blur!! People would actually believe it!!! Id tell people it's bullshit, I saw that same episode without motion blur! I think the courts eventually banned that shit because it stopped like half a year later.

You don't know what the struggle is either... Back in the old days people would get news updates days after the thing happened... One time there was this war news and the reporter ran 40 km to deliver the news... Man literally died of exhaustion... And forget sports - the only way you could see it was if you actually were physically present there...

I grew up in the middle of nowhere late 90's. We had 2 channels and you had to go to the roof and move the antenna if you wanted to switch between them.
